Site Information
Welcome to 2WheelTuesday.com. I started the blog 2WheelTuesday to write about my passion motorcycles and everything associated with them. It is my enjoyment to share information that I find interesting with other like minded motorcycle enthusiasts. I strive to bring news from around the web and my opinion on new topics. Please let me welcome you to my pride and joy 2WheelTuesday.com.
2WheelTuesday has a 2006 SV650 S which is our project bike. The plan is to upgrade the bike to be a ripper on the track. For 2010 I want to take the SV650 to several trackdays and see how the new mods will make it better. Also, for the 2010 season is to get my European Race license. Check under the SV650 Project Bike section to see what all has been done.
About Brian Christner
A little about me. My name is Brian Christner hooligan motorcyclist and one time Supermoto racer. I’m a computer engineer working in the casino industry. My company transferred me 5 years ago from boiling Las Vegas to join the frozen chosen in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was quite a shock to the system going from riding in sun shine 300 days a year to rain all the time. Not only did I have to adapt to a major change in weather I had to update all of my motorcycle gear.
After purchasing all the gear I needed to convince myself to ride regardless of the weather. Well now I am riding regularly and the rain doesn’t even phase me anymore. Another adaption in Europe was splitting lanes in traffic. It took me awhile to really split lanes at speed like the locals do but with plenty of practice it is second nature now.
With a versatile history in motorcycles, racing, and maintenance I enjoy every aspect about motorcycles. I am well versed mechanically and as a rider. I enjoy racing, riding, touring, and just about anything related to motorcycles.

Where’s the FAIL in that? You are the retards. Your the jackass who’s driving and holding cam while driving
Is the bike proberly for sale??
Will pay a very high price!
i miss you i’m for away but i still you number 1 fan
love you rossi
This is outrageous i am 16 and drive an RM125 and it is ridicuolus that my 8 year old and 12 year old brothers cant ride with me. They will copntinue to ride with me leagealy or illeagealy. I cant believe that they would try to take the sport away. the only thing that is being done here is kids are going to be badly injured when they are riding stuff that is to big for them.
Hey, what about the Buells? I have the Uly/XB12Scg/AND the XB12R, talk about twistys…I also have the ‘08 CBR1000RR….spaceship. whatever floats it people!!but alas, 2009 R1200RT is coming to the garage, decent discounts from BMW. Total bike character is what gets me going…the inline 4’s just don’t do it for me, which is why I didn’t want the K12GT bike they had in the showroom…EH, I wish these people that posted this stuff owned one of everything! Hey did I mention the Ducati’s? I traded in the 749 AND the 999…now there is some character!!! See you out there
Its a shame, but if they don’t sell, why make them? From a buisness perspective. They can’t keep a struggling brand alive just for a few people that buy them. I’ve thrown a leg over a lightning, I like v-motor torque (owned a vfr750), but it didn’t rev to save its life, it just didn’t produce the sportbike rush I get from my current CBR at WOT. Power kinda falls off abruply in the higher revs. Wierd riding position, didn’t really like bein in the saddle. Just a small machine. Other than that, cool bikes. Love those daring innovations like in frame fuel tanks. To the guy that thinks all asian bikes look the same, you’re either blind or biased. I appreciate all things on wheels, no matter the country where they were produced. I just happen to ride honda. Its all personal preference. No rider is exactly the same. Erik, keep building solid race bikes, we know how that goes, ama title? Kinda impressive, still a very young race program. Hold it down for the states.
Great find man… he seems like a cool enough dude.
These things are FUGLY! And if they fall apart as easy as the cheap china made sneakers I feel sorry for who every rides in them!! Might be why Stewart’s out of the title hunt!! Stick with Italian made.
Il nuovo sito FIM è di impatto visivo gradevole con immediata accessibilità e facilità di consultazione per ogni ricerca. Molti i dettagli e le informazioni contenuti in esso. Complessivamente positivo.
Questo è più di un sito.. è un film! E l’anima del grande “Pops” sorride ancora.

This aphorism is judicious: “A thing done well can be done better (Avv.Gianni Agnelli)”.
I can only say that it is already stylish and easy to use as graphics ..
Currently I get ideas. Hello bikers ..
But thanks for the request, Brian.
Well, simple and navigable is all the rage these days. Since you seem to be using wordpress, I’d pick a clean looking theme and make sure you know how to use all the features of it. So if you’re using a plugin like “featured content gallery” which looks like the scrolling image plugin you have, make sure you know the dimensions of the images to use and modify all your images to fit those dimensions.
Also, I’d make the categories that you use really clear and only have a few of them. Since you seem to focus on mostly racing, and motorcycle news, I’d keep the catergories pretty simple there and maybe use sub-categories for the different classes of racing. But definitely keep the number of categories down. I did that for one of my sites and it really cleaned things up a lot.
And I think just making the newest content clearly identifiable is really important. If you are updating content on a daily basis, you want your visitors to come daily and be able to really quickly see the newest content and click on it to read it.
Oh, and make sure you have a good spam plugin installed and active – Askimet at least because I don’t know about you but I HATE wordpress comment spam.
*Get a favicon – it’s the little image that goes to the left of the navigation bar in a browser. It’ll help with branding. My favorite site for creating one is http://www.favicon.co.uk/
Last thing – make sure all your columns are clean and aligned. Different sized columns really draw the eye (in a bad way) and make sure any ads/images don’t spill over any content.
Anyway, I’m no expert but I’ve been doing wordpress stuff for a variety of sites for a while so feel free to shoot me an email if you want more input or have specific questions when you are doing the theme change.
Damn I think I typed too much. Good luck with things! Keep up the great content!
As I mentioned on Twitter, let me know if you need any help. I think it’s time for something custom built specific to the needs of 2WheelTuesday.
Wow! Awesome post! I wish I was within 1000 miles of this because I would totally be there!
Fire that R6 up and get riding. If you start now you will be in time for the start.
Let’s get some moto comics on the site. If you’re interested let me know, I might know someone who can help.
Matt
seen it at my local dealer and want to buy it but they wouldnt let me take it 4 a test ride or they wouldnt even start it up 4 me how do they expext to sell a bike like that i would get it if they just did that i dont understand these people
Spies is faster than most of the field, learning a new track and on a new bike. This is going to get real interesting, real quick.
It sometimes helps to ask the dealer if they can find a demo bike for you at another dealer. With brand new motorcycle models some dealers are very reluctant to put miles on the bike as they fear it could hurt the resale value. If you get stuck I have some resources at Honda so just drop me an email in the contact section with more information.
I would have to agree with you. Spies really adapted quickly to the World Superbike circuits last year so we know this should not hinder his performance. The more seat time he gets on his Yamaha M1 and adapts his riding style to MotoGP the more of a threat he will be to other podium contenders. I am expecting an exciting 2010 MotoGP Season.
cant wait to see rossi looking back at STONNER AND HIS TEAM MATE

Superbike World Championship
Again great show and lots of adrenaline
What a great race to start the season! WSBK is definitely going to be exciting this year.
GREAT start to the season! I’m very optimistic about this season, especially after the disaster of last year! (Although I don’t understand the 600’s as the “featured” class at Daytona. Love ‘em yeah, but c’mon, the whole world is watching the 1000’s!?)
Bubba sucks it easy
NIKE is not a motocross brand, please, I would never buy thease boots. Why?
1. It’s extreamly ugly!
2. I think that in about 3 months of riding they will be a total ruin (too much plastic and they are china (or thiland) quality.
3. NIKE doesn’t fit motocross, I can’t imagine Puma or Reebok or Adidas MX boots and so I also can’t imagine a NIKE MX boot. It’s not the place for som comon all around the world brand making boots for every sport y can imagine.
Sumary: NO!NO!NO! Alpinestar Tech10 is the best
When it come for PC?
GOOD POSTS. WHAT A BUNCH OF PATHETIC FUCKING MORONS YOU ARE.
Hi Brian, great to see you still are very enthusiast about the track days. Hope we’ll spend some more days together at Zandvoort this season. I hope for you all the work and investments pay off in lower lap times, but not lower then my times
It would be great if we have some nice three way battles with my brother. The gap was closing all the time last year and now with these mods, anything can happen.
Since my budget is very limited the only improvements on the smoking RS250 will be the diet for the rider, some new plugs and a cleaning of the air filter and a total clean and polish for the complete bike. You know, a clean bike drives faster.
