You couldn’t even plan this better if you had to do it again. The Yamaha Grand Slam bagged 3 World Championships on 1 day. An incredible achievement to win any of the 3 Championships but Yamaha nailed all three. This goes to show that the Yamaha organization has its act together and really is dominating across the board.
What an amazing feat by riders and teams for all three race series. 2010 will shake things up in all three championships as Ben Spies will move to MotoGP and Cal Crutchlow moves up to World Superbike taking Ben Spies ride. This will change the dynamics of all the three different championships and will provide a new start for Yamaha again next year. Stay tuned.
