First Gear OverPants Review

2009_firstgear_ht_air_20_overpants_blackSince riding season is getting in full swing it is time to test some new gear.  The First Gear Overpants seem to be a great fit for commuting to work or other places.  As these pants are 100% waterproof makes these pants an easy option for every day use.  Another feature which is really handy is the the side zippers come all the way up to your hip and the fly opens wide making it easy to take on and off with jeans on.  A huge benefit and a head above the competitors is the removable knee and hip armor.  As other manufactures offer over pants most of them don’t offer armor.  These pants make it so easy to get your gear on quickly and go.  Easy, armor, and waterproof which ticks all the needs of my rides.

These pants are made to be worn over street clothes; the sizing of the waist includes enough room to go over clothing, so you’d want to buy the size pants you normally would buy. For inseam they are offered in both short and tall versions.
